All ATG Internet hosting accounts include a private cgi-bin which permits running cgi-scripts on your domain as well as PHP JSP & ASP support. Click here for more information on PHP support with ATG Internet.

We provide a private cgi-bin directory where you can upload your cgi scripts for form processing , guestbooks etc. Perl 5.004 is currently installed for use with the cgi scripts. We recommend a little html and programming knowledge for users of this service and do not advise this for novices.

Please note: ATG does not support cgi scripts that are installed by its clients or third party web programmers and Designers.

Real Media Streaming

ATG Internet hosting now offers the Helix Real Server for media streaming. These streams can be purchased on a monthly or annual basis. Each stream supports 1 live connection for streaming audio, video, flash, windows media & quicktime.

MySQL Database Support

ATG Internet is pleased to be able to offer our clients mySQL database service. You can now have your own database which you can connect to with CGI, or PHP.

mySQL is a highly regarded database engine which supports virtually all of the functionality of vastly more expensive database servers such as Oracle. The data is accessed using standard SQL (Structured Query Language). You can also connect to your Windows applications such as Excel and Access using an ODBC driver. We recommend using myPHPAdmin software for maintaining and developing your database. myPHPAdmin is available if you choose to utilise the mySQL database service. This software can be used to create tables, add data from text files and carry out all database administration.
